The giveaway is open to anyone who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW. You may not enter if the law of the country, state or region where you live prohibits this kind of promotion, restricts it, or makes it subject to registration, permit, deposit or notarisation requirements. You may not enter if you live in a country or region subject to comprehensive EU or U.S. sanctions. It is your responsibility to check whether you may take part where you live; entering does not mean we have checked it for you. JOISPOI and members of his household are not eligible.

The start and the end of each giveaway are on its own rules page. All times in these rules are UTC. Entries received outside the entry period are not eligible. Our server clock decides.

Entering is free. Your email address is the only thing you have to give us, and one person may enter once.

A giveaway may list tasks — “Visit the channel”, “Comment on the video”, “Follow on Twitch”, “Join the Discord”, “Follow on Instagram”, or a link the giveaway names itself. They are suggestions, and we do not promise to check them. Subscribing to a channel is never a condition of entry.

You can link your Discord account to your entry. You do not have to in order to enter or to win. It is needed only if you want extra tickets under section 5, or if the prize for that giveaway is handed over on Discord.

There is no purchase and no payment of any kind, so there is no alternative method of entry.

One entry gives you one ticket in the draw. A giveaway may offer ways to earn more. All of them are free, none of them is required, and an entry with a single ticket is a valid entry that can win.

Extra tickets need a linked Discord account. They count only while your account is linked to your entry and you are a member of the giveaway’s Discord server. Leave the server and the extra tickets stop counting; come back before the giveaway ends and they count again — the number is worked out at the draw, not kept as a running total. If Discord cannot be reached when we ask, that never counts against you.

• Inviting other people. Your entry page carries a link. Each person who enters through it earns you one extra ticket. The person you invited keeps their own single entry; being invited costs them nothing.
• Entering through a partner link. A partner of the channel may promote a giveaway with their own link. Entering through it earns the partner one extra ticket. It does not change yours.
• Watching a video. If a giveaway offers this, opening the video and leaving it open long enough earns one extra ticket, once per video.

Ten is the limit for the first two together — invitations and partner referrals, however many people you bring. A ticket for watching a video comes on top of that limit.

An extra ticket is void if the entry behind it is disqualified, for example as a duplicate. Inviting yourself under a second address is not an extra ticket; it is grounds for disqualification under section 14.

Your ticket count is fixed at the moment of the draw. It is written down with the draw record, so the result can be checked afterwards against the numbers that were actually used. Nothing that happens after the draw changes it.

The prize, its approximate retail value in USD and the number of winners are on the rules page of each giveaway. The value shown is the market value of the item at the time it was last checked, and the date of that check is shown next to it.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible tickets in the draw, not on the number of people who entered. One entry is one ticket; section 5 says how a single entry can hold more than one.

Winners are drawn at random from all eligible tickets no later than 7 days after the giveaway ends, after the exclusions in section 14 have been applied. An entry holding several tickets is in the draw several times, but can win only once: once an entry is drawn, its other tickets are out.

For every draw we store a record with the time, the number of eligible entries and tickets, the random seed and the order drawn — winners and alternates. If you entered, you can ask to see that record; we show it without any data about other people.

If you were not drawn, you will not hear from us.

We notify winners by email, at the address used to enter. You have to reply within the deadline shown on the giveaway’s rules page, with the delivery details we ask for. If you do not, the prize is forfeited and an alternate is drawn.

When you reply you confirm that your age and your place of residence are as you stated when entering.

Before being declared a winner, a selected entrant who resides in Canada must correctly answer, unaided by any mechanical or electronic device, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by the Sponsor.

Every giveaway names its delivery method on its own page, before you enter. We ask for delivery details only after you have won, and only what that method needs.

• Steam trade. We need the Steam trade URL of your own account.
• A code by email. We need nothing beyond the address you entered with.
• Something else. A giveaway may name a different way — handing the prize over on Discord, for example. The giveaway page then says in plain words what the winner will have to send, and that is all we will ask for.

Shipping a physical prize by post is not currently offered. If a giveaway ever names it again, the giveaway page will say so before you enter, we will need a postal address from the winner, the Sponsor pays the shipping cost, and we will not ship where shipping or importing the prize is prohibited — in that case we may offer a prize of equal value or draw an alternate winner.

The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash. If delivery fails because the details you gave were wrong or incomplete, that is on you.

Prize delivery is made exclusively via Steam trade to the winner’s own Steam account. The winner must have a Steam account in good standing that is trade-eligible, with Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least seven (7) days, a public inventory, and no active trade ban, VAC ban or trade hold. Sponsor is not responsible for trade holds, item trade cooldowns, regional restrictions, or any inability to complete the trade caused by Valve Corporation or the winner’s account status. If the trade cannot be completed within fourteen (14) days of first contact, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected. The prize is non-transferable, has no cash value, and Sponsor is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike 2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation. Winner is solely responsible for all applicable taxes.

You are responsible for all taxes, customs duties and import charges on the prize, and for declaring the prize where the law requires it.

We publish winners only as a masked email address, for example ma•••@g•••.com. Entering does not mean you agree to anything beyond that: we will not use your name, your picture or your words in advertising.

You can object at any time by emailing us; we will remove the masked entry.

A confirmed deletion request before the draw counts as withdrawing your entry. A confirmed deletion request from a winner before the prize is delivered counts as giving up the prize; an alternate takes your place.

We may remove an entry, and take back a prize that has not yet been delivered, if the entry involves more than one entry by the same person, a disposable email address, automated entry, a false statement about age, or any other attempt to interfere with the giveaway.

Once a giveaway is published we may only extend its entry period and increase the number of winners. Nothing else about it changes. We may end a giveaway early only for serious cause — manipulation, technical failure, or a legal order — and if we do, the reason and the time are recorded on its rules page.

By entering you agree that JOISPOI is not liable for entries that are lost, late or damaged in transit, for technical failures outside our control, or for anything that happens to the prize after it has been delivered to you.

Nothing in these rules limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These rules and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of Iceland, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you habitually live. The courts of Reykjavík, Iceland have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the EEA or the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the place where you live, and we will bring proceedings against you only there. Our decisions on all matters relating to the giveaway, including the drawing, are final and binding, except where mandatory law says otherwise.

The masked winners are shown on the giveaway’s own page. You can also ask us for them by email, up to 60 days after the giveaway ends.

Twitch. This is a promotion by JOISPOI. Twitch does not sponsor or endorse this promotion and is not responsible for it.

Instagram. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to JOISPOI and not to Instagram, and you completely release Instagram from any and all liability in connection with this promotion.

YouTube. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by YouTube. By entering, you release YouTube from any and all liability. Entries that do not comply with the YouTube Community Guidelines and Terms of Service will be disqualified.

Discord. This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Discord Inc. Entrants release Discord from all liability and must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

If a provision of these rules is or becomes invalid, the rest stays in force. The invalid provision is replaced by the valid rule that comes closest to what it was meant to achieve.
